Oh I almost forgot...
A couple of snippets I'd forgotten about the 'O' ring fettling session:
- I was really pleased that I could hoik Blue Rex onto the paddock stand (for stability, level and height) and work on it in the garage at last, rather than outside on the driveway.
- For the first time whilst manouevering the paddock stand into place, I managed to let Blue Rex topple over sideways, it being stopped by the two pushbikes next to it. Fortunately, it was such a gentle roll sideways that there was no damage (thank goodness it was slow and there were no sharp ends sticking out of the pushbikes). Now if it'd happened outside, the bike would've gone right over onto its side...

I tend to get Donna to hold it while I stick Zed on the stand cuz I'm paranoid about that happening. I've done it on my own once but the driveway is too uneven to be sure.
I still haven't worked out how to use the front stand. :P

Uneven drives are simply scary when doing something as precarious as this. I need to get a front stand sorted out at some point: maybe at the Ally Pally show.
